London: The Federation of Sikh Organisations has announced to question a Kirtani Jatha who is accused of performing kirtan during former Punjab Police SSP Swaran Ghotna’s bhog ceremony.
In a written statement issued today FSO leaders Kuldeep Singh Chaheru and Loveshinder Singh Dallewal called upon Sikhs to boycott police officials who were responsible for eliminating Sikh youth in fake encounters.
They said that any Granthi, Kirtani Jatha, Kathavachak or religious preacher or personality who participates in bhog or other ceremony of a human rights abusers will be boycotted in UK.
FSO leaders said that any such person or jatha visiting UK will be questioned and if they are found guilty the FSO will ensure that their programs in UK are cancelled.
The statement says that the decision was taken during a meeting of FSO leaders that was held in wake of controversy over UK visit of Bhai Gagandeep Singh Ganganagar who had reportedly performed Kirtan at SSP Swaran Ghotna’s bhog. SSP Swaran Ghotna who was accused of killing former Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Gurdev Singh Kaonke.
