German Gurdwara Committees Condemn Frankfurt Gurdwara Incident

Frankfurt: In a written statement issued today (copy available with the Sikh Siyasat News) the management committee of various Sikh Gurdwaras in Germany strongly condemned Frankfurt incident in which a group of people forcible prevented a prachar samgam by Sikh pracharak Bhai Panth Preet Singh.

A joint statement issued by representatives of various Gurdwara Committes of Germany states that some persons and groups had announced to prevent Bhai Panth Preet Singh’s diwans but the Gurdwara management committee of Frankfurt had told them to present any evidence that Bhai Panth Preet Singh was preaching against the Gurmat.

In this statement it is said that those who had raised objections did not present any evidence rather declared to prevent the samgam at any cost.

Gurdwara representatives including Gurpal Singh Babbar, Anoop SIngh Ghotra, Onkar Singh Gill, Baldev Singh Bajwa, Dilbagh Singh, Joginder Singh and Inderpreet Singh informed that the Gurdwara Committees of Germany have announced to continue their support to the Sikh pracharaks who propagate according to the Gurmat principals.

They said that incidents of clashes inside the Gurdwara Sahibs were bringing ill-fame for the Sikhs and they would not tolerate such incidents.
