German police arrest any Indian spy for spying on German Sikhs

Bielefeld: The German police has reportedly arrested another suspected Indian spy formĀ Bielefeld for spying on German Sikhs. According to a news reported in German newspaper Bild (on Feb. 17), the German police suspects that the arrested persons was spying on local Sikh groups for Indian intelligence agencies.

According to concerned attorney general theĀ person (aged 58), whose name is not disclosed yet, was an employee in immigration office. He used to pass the information of Sikh activists engaged in alleged anti-India activities to the Indian authorities. He is also accused of having misused access to immigration records. There was already a warrant against him.

It may be recalled that the German police has another Indian spy spying of German Sikh activists last year.
