German Sikh bodies to mark India’s Independence Day as “Black Day”

Germany: Various Sikh organisations of Germany have decided to hold a protest demonstration outside Indian Embassy on August 15. This days mark as “Independence Day of India” but Sikh organisations of Germany including Babbar Khalsa, Sikh Federation, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar, International Sikh federation and Dal Khalsa have decided to mark the day as “Black Day”.

Representatives of these organisations told media representative that the demonstration will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday (August 15) to protest against repression of freedom movements of ‘struggling nationalities’ and human rights violations against minorities and tribals by Indian state.
