Giani Gurbachan Singh issues emotional appeal to Haryana Sikhs for “unity” of Panth

Amritsar, Punjab (July 08, 2014): Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has issued an ’emotional appeal’ to Haryana Sikhs against formation of separate Gurdwara committee for Haryana.

The recent appeal by Giani Gurbachan Singh came after Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced to place a bill for the formation of HSGPC in the state assembly in upcoming session that is set to begin on 11 July.

In an appeal issued by Akal Takht secretariat supervisor Bhupinder Singh, Giani Gurbachan Singh cautioned Sikhs against “anti-Panthic forces”.

He said that the anti-Panthic forces were aiming weekinging the unity and strength of the Sikh panth by using divide and rule policy.
