Chandigarh: A woman who had set herself ablaze in front of Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal’s residence in Chandigarh on December 12, 2014 reportedly died today Government Hospital of Sector 16.
Gurpreet Kaur of Gurdaspur had set herself ablaze in front of the official residence of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal at around 9 am on Dec. 12 last year.

She was rushed to Government Multi-Speciality Hospital in Sector 16, Chandigarh soon after the incident.
Gurpreet Kaur, who hails from Gurdaspur district had set herself ablaze after security personals deployed outside Badal’s resident did not allow her to meet the CM.
As per information Gurpreet Kaur died today at Government Hospital of Sector 16. More details were awaited at the time of writing this report.
