Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi to Contest from Batala constituency; AAP’s 7th List is Out

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday (Dec. 10) released 7th list of party candidates for upcoming state assembly polls. The list comprises names of four candidates- including the name of AAP’s state convenor Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi.

AAP has fielded Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi from Batala constituency. Earlier there were talks that Ghuggi may take on ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) heavy weight Bikram Majithia from Majithia constituency. As per media reports the Aam Aadmi Party may filed Himmat Singh Shergill as candidate against Bikram Majithia in coming days. Notably, Himmat Shergill is presently party’s candidate from Mohali.
7th List of the Aam Aadmi Party reads as Follows:
