Gurpreet Singh Guri, others arrested by Delhi police from Jantar Mantar

New Delhi, India: Sikh activists who had shifted their hunger strike to Jantar Mantar today were reportedly arrested by the Delhi police in the evening. In an update Gurpreet Singh Guri Hans said that he along with Bagicha Singh Waraich and Gurpiar Singh were called by Delhi police at a police station near Indian parliament.

“The police has detained us at the police station. We had all requisite permissions to sit on hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, were dozens of people are holding their protests. Delhi police is discriminating against us” said Bagicha Singh Waraich in an audio message sent to the ‘Sikh Diary’.
