Faridkot: As per media reports emanating from Faridkot in Punjab, two unidentified persons snatched a rifle from a police personnel on Sunday (Jan. 22) evening. The district police has reportedly issued high alert in wake of this incident.
As per reports, head constable Balwinder Singh- who was deployed as security guard with Gurdeep Singh, an independent candidate from Jaito seat, was standing in front of Sadar police station, when two persons came out of a TATA Indica car and manhandled Balwinder Singh. The attackers reportedly fled with rifle snatched from Balwinder Singh. More details were awaited at the time of writing this news.
