I accept Arvind Kejriwal’s challenge; But will debate in Assembly: says Kiran Bedi

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s chief ministerial candidate for the Delhi Assembly polls Kiran Bedi on Tuesday accepted Arvind Kejriwal’s challenge for a debate with him and said she will do it on the floor of the Assembly.
“I am accepting the challenge. I will debate in the assembly,” Bedi told reporters.

She said she believes in ‘delivering’ and not only on ‘debating’.

“Arvind Kejriwal has only been debating, I believe in delivering,” she said.

Kiran Bedi said she had blocked Arvind Kejriwal’s Twitter account last year when he called himself an ‘anarchist’.

Kejriwal on Tuesday invited the former top cop for a public debate.

“@thekiranbedi congrats 4 being nominated as BJP’s CM candidate. I invite u 4 a public debate moderated by neutral person n telecast by all,” Kejriwal tweeted.

He also asked Bedi to ‘unblock’ him on micro-blogging site Twitter.

“.@thekiranbedi Kiranji, i used to follow u on twitter. Now, u have blocked me on twitter. Kindly unblock me,” the former Delhi CM tweeted.

Kejriwal will file his nomination papers for the polls on Tuesday.

Kejriwal will contest the polls from New Delhi seat. Delhi Assembly elections will be held on Feb. 7.
