India: Black Warrants Issued To Execute Death Penalty Awarded to 4 Convicts in 2012 Rape Case

New Delhi: An Indian court today issued black/death warrants to execute death penalty awarded to four convicts in 2012 Delhi gangrape case.
The four convicts — Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta, and Mukesh — in the December 2012 gangrape case
As per the order, the death penalty will be executed on January 22, 2020 at 7 am in Tihar jail in Delhi.
Additional Sessions Judge Satish Kumar Arora, who issued the death warrants, further said that the convicts have 14 days to try available legal remedies.
