Indian Media Reports Suggest Modi Govt. May Backtrack on Kartarpur Corridor

Chandigarh: In wake of yesterday’s attack on a bus carrying CRPF personnel, resulting into death of 44, in Pulwama district of Kashmir the Narendra Modi led government has called an urgent meeting of the Union cabinet today.

Indian media reports suggest that the Narendra Modi led backtrack from its commitment on Kartarpur Sahib corridor as the government of India is blaming the government of Pakistan for harbouring outfits which India believes carry out attacks in territory under its control.

Media reports say that the government may also decide to carryout “surgical strike” like one the Indian government and media claimed to have been previously carried after Uri attack.
