The demonstration is scheduled to be held on December 06, 2012 at 11 am from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar (New Delhi) India.

A poster released released by the organizers of the demonstration states: “The Babri Masjid, a historic monument, was destroyed on 6th December, 1992. It was a criminal act carried out by the communalised political forces led by BJP and Congress. Thousands were killed in communal violence that followed in many parts of the country”.

It further states that: “The genocide of Sikhs in 1984, the killings of Muslims in Mumbai in 1992-93, in Gujrat 2002 and the subsequent episodes of communal and sectarian violence including in Odisha and Assam have revealed that secularism and communalism are two sides of one policy of the Indian rulers to divide and rule”.

“Let us come together, irrespective of religion, language, caste, racial, regional or any other difference and resolve to continue to fight till the guilty are punished.” the organizers have called.

They have also called upon to fight for legislation and mechanisms to prevent state-organised communal violence in the will truly empower our people and build a modern and civilized India.
