Trust betrayed in Patiala jail: says Kanwar Sandhu

Patiala, Punjab: Journalist Kanwar Sandhu, who was allegedly assualted by Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana on during a meeting inside Patiala jail on Saturday, has posted a video update about the incident.

Meanwhile, Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana has issued a written letter regarding Kanwar Sandhu’s interview with Gurmeet Pinky. (Read this letter in Punjabi).

It may be recalled that Gurmeet Pinky had maintained in his interview with Kanwar Sandhu that Balwant Singh Rajaona has leaked the information related to an escape plan of Jagtar Singh Hawara and others to the police. Pinky had claimed that Balwant Singh Rajoana had called him in the Burail jail and told him that Jagtar Singh Hawara and other persons involved in CM Beant Singh assassination case were planning to escape from the jail who had allegedly arrange RDX explosive in the Burail jail. He said that on the basis of information provided by Balwant Singh Rajoana, the explosives were recovered by the police and the escape plan of Jagtar Singh Hawara and others was foiled.
