Chandigarh: In a brief update, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) led by former Punjab Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal said that “S. Karnail Singh Panjoli has been expelled from the primary membership of the Shiromani Akali Dal for a period of 6 years”.
A tweet posted on party’s official twitter handle further read “Decision to this effect has been taken by the party’s Disciplinary Committee headed by S Sikander Singh Maluka. The meeting was held at vill Maluka on Feb 13.”
S. Karnail Singh Panjoli is a member of the Shiromani Gurdwar Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) and former member of the SGPC executive.
