Paris, France: “Kaurnama: Kharkoo Sangharsh Dian Shaheed Bibian Dee Gatha” was unveiled during a Shaheedi Samagam at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Bambini, on May 19th.

Authored by Baljinder Singh Kotbhara under the mentorship of Panth Sewak Bhai Daljit Singh, the book delves into the untold narratives of Sikh women who stood resilient during the tumultuous struggle for freedom in the 1980s and 1990s.

This release follows the book’s inaugural launch on May 6th at Village Panjwar, commemorating Shaheed Paramjit Singh Panjwar.

Beyond the borders of France, the book’s journey continued with successive releases on May 12th in New York and Seattle in the USA, Windsor and Brampton in Canada, and Frankfurt in Germany, all coinciding with Shaheedi Samagams.

Published by Bibekgarh Parkashan, the book’s first edition swiftly disappeared from shelves, testament to readers’ interest. In response to overwhelming demand, the publisher has expedited the printing of a second edition, ensuring that the timeless tales of courage and sacrifice of Sikh women continue to reach the readers.
