Tarn Taran: Human Rights body, Khalra Mission Organization, reportedly staged a protest outside office of Deputy Commissioner of Tarn Taran on February 18. A release by KMO says the protest sit-in was part of ongoing justice and awareness move, aimed at “exposing” violators of human rights.
Leaders of Khalra Mission Organization maintained that under first phase of genocide the Indian state had launched army attack against the Sikhs in June 1984 and thousands of Sikhs were massacred throughout Indian subcontinent in November 1984, which marks second phase of the genocide.
During third phase of genocide thousands of youth were killed in fake encounters in Punjab, said Harmandeep Singh Sarhali of KMO, while adding that the rampant drugs abuse was yet another phase of the ongoing genocide in Punjab.
