Kotkapura: Punjab government’s officials continue to face anger of the Sikh sangat as well as Punjab farmers. Mantar Brar visited a government school in the village to distribute cycles among girl students. Before he started distributing of the cycles, a number of farm union members and Sikh protesters assembled near the school.
Carrying black flags, the protesters refused to relent and object to Brar’s presence in the village. A heavy police force was rushed to the village to control the situation, notes The Tribune (TT).
Keeping in view the raging anger among the protesters, Brar left the village before the conclusion of the programme, the vernacular notes further.
