Washington D.C. (August 13, 2013): According to a press release sent by Narinder Singh, Balwinder Singh Chatha and Paramjeet Singh Mata Jatinder Kaur mother of US based Dr. Amarjit Singh (Director, Khalistan Affairs Center) passed away on July 31, 2013. The Bhog of Akhand Path of Guru Granth Sahib ji and the Antim Ardas in the memory of Mata Jatinder Kaur shall take place on August 18, 2013.

“With sorrowful heart and tearful eyes, we inform the Sikh Sangat around the globe that our most beloved and respectable Mata Jatinder Kaur ji left for heavenly abode on July 31st, 2013 (1925 – 2013 )”, reads the press release, a copy of which was received by Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) by email.
“She was the mother of Dr. Amarjit Singh, widely known Sikh scholar, and a fearless Sikh activist (Director, Khalistan Affairs Center, Washington DC ). She was a blessed soul who always sought the Chardhikala of Khalsa Panth and gave her priceless possession, her son, in the service of Khalsa Panth”, the Press release reads further.
“Bhog of Akhand Path of Guru Granth Sahib ji, Kirtan and Antim Ardas will take place in the memory of departed soul on August 18th, 2013 ( Sunday) at 1 PM at Sikh Center of Virginia, 8015 ,Buckhall Road, Manassas, Va. 20111. Tributes will be paid by different Sikh representatives” it reads further.
