Mother of Sikh political prisoner Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria passed away

Chandigarh/ Malerkotla: Mata Isher Kaur, mother of Sikh political prisoner Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria, passed away on Monday (Sept. 12) at around 9 a.m. She was 105 years old.

Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria is presently lodged at Tihar jail in Delhi. Family members of Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria said that the Antim Sanskar of Mata Isher Kaur would be held in coming days as they were making legal efforts to seek permission of authorities to allow Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria to attend last rites of his mother.
