The best designed newly built 5 star hotel (the Oberoi Gurgaon) is owned by Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. Besides Oberoi’s, Badal owns another 5 star hotel Trident in Gurgaon. After capturing power in Punjab, Badal is now all set to capture the luxury hotel business.
Badal’s Orbit company which owns the infamous killer bus of Punjab also owns these 5 star hotel properties worth Rs 800 crore. Like the controversial transport business, the hotel properties have a dubious record too.
