Navjot Kaur Sidhu, Pargat Singh will join Congress on Nov 28: says Capt. Amarinder Singh

Chandigarh: Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh announced on Wednesday that Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of former Rajya Sabha member Navjot Singh Sidhu, and Pargat Singh will join the Congress on November 28.
I am pleased to announce that Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu & Pargat Singh will formally be joining Congress on November 28, Tweeted Capt. Amarinder Singh.

As per media reports no decision has yet been taken on Navjot Singh Sidhu’s entry into the party even as speculation was rife about his joining the Congress.
“Senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad is reportedly in touch with Sidhu and has made him an offer. Source said Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh has been taken into confidence on the matter”, notes the Indian Express .
