News about Sikh Students Federation’s involvement in Dera followers’ killings is Fake: AISSF

Ludhiana: A news about Sikh Students Federation having owned responsibility for killing of two dera premis in Ludhiana district was published by some online media outlets on Monday afternoon. These news reports maintain that the responsibility was owned by someone named Jasmeet Singh of the Sikh Students Federation. These reports are highly dubious as no one named Jasmeet Singh is a known leader of the Sikh Students Federation (SSF), once a premier Sikh Students body that is more or less reduced to news-items these days.

A known faction of the SSF, All India Sikh Students Federation (Peer Mohammad) has reacted sharply to these media reports while dubbing them as “fake news”.

He also said that someone has forged Sikh Students Federation’s letter head to spread this fake news.
