EXCLUSIVE Talk with JAGTAR SINGH JAGGI’s DEFENCE COUNCIL about NIA Court Proceedings

(Dec. 19, 2017)

The NIA has formally arrested Jagtar Singh Jaggi in this case and the investigative agency demanded his custody for 12 days. The plea was strongly opposed by the defence council Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur who argued that Jagtar Singh Jaggi has been in the custody of Punjab police since his arrest on Nov. 04.

He said that when the investigation agencies are themselves claiming that all the cases are interlinked then there was no reason for granting police remand for 12 days. He apprised the court the earlier Jagtar Singh Jaggi in the custody of Punjab police in this case.

After hearing the arguments from both the sides the court sent Jagtar Singh Jaggi on police remand for 3 days. He will be again produced in the court on December 22.
