Outgoing Consulate General of Pakistan in Toronto Honoured by Sikh Community

Toronto, Canada: On December 29, 2019 the Consulate General of Pakistan in Toronto Imran Ahmed Siddiqui was honored by the Sikh community for his services and outreach at a farewell event organised at Gurdwara Baba Budha Jee, Hamilton.

It was announced today that for Canadiian citizens to obtain pilgrim visa to Pakistan no longer need sponsorship letter from Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Baba Budha Jee Gurdwara can issue a sponsorship letter.

Imran Ahmed Siddiqui has been promoted. He’s going to Dhaka.

“Consulate Imran Ahmad Siddiqui was instrumental to bridge stronger relationship between the Pakistan Government and the Sikh Community”, said Sukhminder Singh Hansra coordinator of United Front of Sikhs Canada.

“Sikhs stands in solidarity with the people of Kashmir in these difficult times due to lockdown by Indian army”, said he.
