Panch Pardhani to launch district level protests against arrest of Sikh Leaders.

Ludhiana (25 September 2009): In an important meeting held over here yesterday, the SAD (A) Panch Pardhani has decided to launch district level protests against arrests of Bhai Daljeet Singh Bittu and other leaders, members and even employees of Panch Pardhani. As per Panch Pardhani General Secretary Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema a meeting was held at Party’s Ludhiana based head office that was presided by Bhai Kulbir Singh Barapind and Daya Singh Kakkar. The meeting was attended by District Presidents and other party officials.
“It is decided that Panch Pardhani would launch district level protests against arrest of Bhai Daljeet Singh, Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur and others’ said Bhai Cheema. ‘Panch Pardhani took serious note of charging our leaders under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967 which is used just 3-4 times in last 42 years in Punjab and we shall take the issue to the court of people of Punjab and would expose the ill-motives of Punjab Government at whose instance all this drama (of arrests) has been staged by the Punjab Police’ he added.
Bhai Kulbir Singh Barapind and Bhai Daya Singh Kakkar informed media after the meeting that schedule of protests shall be declared soon.
