Panthic Talmel Sangathan’s convenor and former Jathedar of Takht Damdama Sahib, Giani Kewal Singh said that the Dera chief is facing a criminal charge and Sikhs have nothing to do with it. He said that Sikhs need not to indulge into this matter in any case.

It is notable that Gurmeet Ram Rahim is facing criminal charges, including rape, in a CBI court. The Panchkula (Haryana) based CBI court has fixed August 25 as the date for court decision in this matter. The governments of Haryana and Punjab have beefed up the security sensing trouble by dera followers.
