At the time when Modi led Achhey Din government in the centre has reduced the budget reserved for health from Rs 450 crore to Rs 375 crore for Punjab for the financial year 2015-16, state government has withdrawn various facilities given to the employees while state government is giving no hear to the demand of regularisation of the contractual workers in the health department”, alleged state convener of the committee Rvinder Luthra and national convener Kulbir Singh Dhillon.

“The contractual employees under NHM are working on just Rs 4000 to 12000 under various categories but state government has refused regularise their services. They are the professional degree holders including MBAs, MCAs etc and they deserve the regular jobs in the department”, they further added.

These decisions can never be tolerated and the state level general house would formulate a policy to open front against the state government”, they further said.
