Pargat Singh resigns from primary membership of Badal Dal

Chandigarh: Jalandhar cantonment MLA Pargat Singh today resigned from primary membership of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal).

As per media reports Pargat Singh, who was placed under suspension by SAD (B) chief Sukhbir Badal, submitted his resignation to Sukhbir today.

Pargat Singh has joined hands with former BJP MP Navjot Sidhu and Ludhiana MLAs Bains brothers to float a party called Awaaz-e-Punjab.

Pargat Singh had met AAP rebel and Patiala MP Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi few days back to convince him to join the so-termed “fourth front” for upcoming Punjab state assembly elections.
