Meanwhile, the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) has taken over Gurdwara Jandalisar Sahib in Kotshamir. This Historic Gurdwara Sahib is said to be build on personal property of a Sikh who had handed over “sewa” of Gurdwara Sahib to Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal.
Gurdwara Jandalisar Sahib (Kotshamir) was main base of Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal where he was staying with him family. After the arrest of Baba Baljit Singh on evening of August 21 the Gurdwara Sahib was taken over by the SGPC.
It is notable that Baljit Singh Daduwal was main person who had led a groups of HSGMC supporter to take over control of Guhla-Cheeka Gurdwara Sahib in Haryana. Punjab’s ruling party Badal Dal was opposing formation of HSGMC and loss of control over a Historic Gurdwara Sahib in Guhla-Cheeka was considered to be major setback for Badal Dal’s move agianst formation of HSGMC.
Even earlier this month the Punjab police tried to arrest Daduwal in Bajakhana case but after getting a tip he was able to avoid his arrest.
