Bibi Sarvinder Kaur is daughter of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, an elderly Sikh activists who is on continuing hunger strike since 16 January 2015 and who is currently hospitalised at Civil Hospital Ludhiana where he is being force-fed by the doctors under directions from the police and administration.
Bibi Sarvinder Kaur’s bother Ravinder Jit Singh Gogi, a US citizen, is lodged at Central Jail Ludhaina. He is put in jail under “preventive detention” clauses. He was beaten up by a Punjab police ASI during one of his recent court appearances. Bibi Sarvinder Kaur Khalsa alleges that police beating and torture of Ravinder Jit Singh Gogi was a pre-planned conspiracy.
