Chandigarh: Senior advocate and Aam Aadmi Party leader H.S. Phoolka has welcomed the parole granted to Sikh political prisoner Prof. Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar. AAP leader described the move as a ‘right step in the right direction’.

“Bhullar should have been granted parole much earlier for his treatment and to meet his family. This is a right step in the right direction,” Phoolka reportedly said.
Prof. Bhullar was released on parole of 21 days on Saturday after about 21 years of imprisonment in various jails in India.
