Jalandhar, Punjab (March 15, 2014): The Bahujan Samaj Party (SBP) has announced it’s 12 Lok Sabha candidates from Punjab. While announcing the candidates, BSP has spared Sangrur constituency from where the candidates shall be announced in coming days.
Narinder Kashyap, BSP’s in-charge of Punjab affairs, while ruling out any poll alliance with the Congress party said that the BSP shall contest all Lok Sabha seats in Punjab on it’s own.
He said that Sangrur seat shall soon be announced and BSP president Mayavati shall address her first election rally in Nawanshehr on April 16.
Punjabi singer K. S. Makhan and Shaheed Beant Singh’s son Sarabjit Singh Khalsa, who recently joined BSP, have been fielded from Anandpur Shaib and Fatehgarh Sahib respectively.
