Chandigarh: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal today greeted the people especially the Muslim brethren on the eve of auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In his message, SAD (Badal) president Sukhbir Badal said that Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the period of fasting during the pious month of Ramzan. The festival commemorates brotherhood, amity and the spirit of sharing. It reflects the true spirit of our composite culture. He called upon people to celebrate the festival rising above their religious affiliations.
“May the festival strengthen our resolve to promote tolerance and peace and live in harmony,” Deputy CM of Punjab added.
