Punjab: Mann Dal declares 9 candidates; Simran Jeet Singh Mann to contest from Khadoor Sahib

Jalandhar, Punjab (March 06, 2014): As per information Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann), led by former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and Member Parliament Mr. Simranjit Singh Mann has declared it’s list of nine candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The list was reportedly finalized by a high level committee of Mann Dal and it was declared on March 03. Polls are to be held in Punjab on April 30.

According to the list, party president Simranjit Singh Mann will contest the elections of Khadur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency. Badal Dal, led by Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and his clan, has already fielded Ranjit Singh Brahmpura from Khadoor Sahib constituency (check complete list of Badal Dal candidates).

Other candidates announced by Mann Dal are: Parminderpal Singh Shukarchakia (Amritsar), Jaskaran Singh Kahan Singh Wala (Bathinda), Dharam Singh Klaur (Fatehgarh Sahib), Darshan Singh Manuke (Fridkot), Samsher Singh Maloa (Hoshiarpur), Pyare Lal Kaler (Jalandhar), Talib Singh Sandhu (Ludhiana) and Master Karnail Singh Narike (Sangrur).

While announcing candidates, Mann Dal’s senior vice president Dhian Singh Mand and other leaders said that their party would soon announce candidates for the remaining constituencies of Punjab. They said that the party shall field it’s candidates on some selected seat in neighboring states as well.
