Chandigarh: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) vice president Prabhat Jha has reportedly said that the saffron would continue it’s alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) in Punjab. He said that both the parties would contest the forthcoming Punjab state assembly elections together. Polls in Punjab are due in early 2017.
“Our alliance in Punjab with Akali Dal will continue. It is an unbreakable relationship which people have supported not just once, but twice. Therefore, we will contest the polls in coalition only,” Prabhat Jha, who is also in-charge of BJP in Punjab said.
“We all workers are working hard in Punjab and we will again form the government there in 2017”, a news reported by NDTV quotes Prabhat Jha.
