Rajwinder Singh Rahi’ book on Komagatamaru to be released on Sept. 28 at Chandigarh

Chandigarh: A new book about the tragedy of Komagatamaur incident will be released on September 28, 2016 at Kisan Bhawan (Sector 35-A), Chandigarh. Penned by Rajwinder Singh Rahi, the book titled “Komagatamur Da Sach” (The Truth of Komagatamaru) sheds light of various vital aspects the incident that were deliberately ignored by other historians under the influence of so-called process of the Indian Nation building.

Rajwinder Singh Rahi has previously edited books on life and works of poet Sant Ram Udasi, autobiography of Gadhar party founder Baba Sohan Singh Bhakna (that was penned by Baba Sohan Singh Bhakna from jail) and a set of two books comprising ‘ignored’ writings of prominent leaders of Gadhar party movement.

Rajwinder Singh Rahi told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over the phone that the book release ceremony will start at 11:00 am on Wednesday (Sept. 28).

The book will be jointly released by Sikh historian and intellectual S. Ajmer Singh and journalists S. Sukhdev Singh, S. Jaspal Singh Sidhu, S. Karamjeet Singh and S. Hamir Singh.
