Amritsar/Chandigarh: Cold-shouldered by the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) president Sukhbir Singh Badal, SAD (B) Majha leader Ranjit Singh Brahampura today sent a brief resignation letter to party president.

Notably, Ranjit Singh Brahampura had announced to resign from all party posts few days back. He had announced his decision to quit party posts but stay in the party as a member during a press conference.

In his brief resignation letter Brahampura has reportedly cited his age and health as his reason to quit the party.

His resignation is proceeded by similar resignation from SAD (B) leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa. Dhindsa too had cited health reasons for quitting party posts.

These party leaders are saying that they are also not happy with the policies of the party. The are also raising objections against leadership of Sukhbir Singh Badal in an indirect manner. In his initial press conference on September 30 Ranjit Singh Brahampura had said that he was the second senior most person in the party after Parkash Singh Badal.
