Chandigarh/ Punjab (June 11, 2014): After inducting three new ministers to his cabinet, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal allotted department to three new ministers while changed department of seven minister including three new ministers on Wednesday.
According to the new portfolios, Dr Daljeet Singh Cheema has been given Education, Tota Singh Agriculture and NRI affairs, S S Thandal Jails and Tourism Printing.
Power goes to deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, Civil Aviation to CM, Irrigation to Sharanjit Dhillon , PWD, B and R to Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Water Supply ,Sanitaion to Surjit Singh Rakhra while Sikander Singh Maluka gets Rural Development and Panchayat.
On the advice of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, the Punjab Governor Shivraj V Patil today approved the list of portfolios allotted to the newly inducted three Cabinet Ministers besides reshuffling the portfolios of other Cabinet Ministers.
