RSS-man, Manohar Lal Khattar, to be CM of Haryana

Chandigarh: A staunch RSS propagandist Manohar Lal Khattar, 60, all set to become Chief Minister of Haryana. Khattar has worked for almost 40 years as an Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak is known in RSS ranks for his organisational skills.
Manohar Lal Khattar, who is close to Narendra Modi, was today (Oct. 21) unanimously elected Leader of the BJP Legislature Party, paving the way for his becoming the first Chief Minister of the saffron party in Haryana.
He was elected Leader of BJP LP at a meeting of 47 newly elected MLAs at the Chandigarh UT Guest House, party Vice President Dinesh Sharma, who attended the meeting along with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu as central observers, told reporters.
He won the Karnal seat with a margin of 63,736 votes.
