Ambala, Haryana: Shiroamani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) has extended support to Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa’s hunger strike. Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa is seeking permanent release S. Simranjeet Singh Mann and others with Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa of seven Sikh political prisoners who have served the statutory terms of their sentences.
Party president Simranjeet Singh Mann along with other SAD (Mann) officials including Jaskaran Singh Khan Singh Wala, Raminder Jeet Singh Mintu, Jarnail Singh Sakhira, Prof. Ajit Singh Kahlon, Lakhwinder Singh Gopala met Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa at Gurdwara Lakhnaur Sahib in Ambala on 12th day of hunger strike.
SAD (Mann) delegation paid homage at Gurdwara Lakhnaur Shaib and performed ‘ardas’ for the success of Bandi Singh Rihai Morcha. SAD (Mann) leaders criticized the silence of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC), Delhi Committee and Badal Dal for their silence over the issue.
Gurpreet Singh Guri Hans, a companion of Gurbaksh Singh Khasla said that Sikh Sangat of Punjab and Haryana are extending massive support for the cause of Sikh Political prisoners.
