Fatehgarh Sahib: The Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) has condemned Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for asking Sikhs of Dachar village near Asandh in Karnal district to remove portrait of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale from the village Gurdwara Sahib.

It may be recalled that Haryana CM had cancelled his visit to the Gurdwara Sahib last Friday after Sikhs had refused to removed the said portrait.

SADA (Mann) political advisor Iqbal Singh Tiwana said that Haryana CM was nobody to tell Sikhs to remove portrait Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale who was recognised as “Great Sikh of 20th Century” by the Akal Takht Sahib.

The natives of Dachar village has already warned the Haryana CM to tender apology to Sikhs or face boycott.

Damdami Taksal (Mehta)  has also criticised M L Khattar while demanding his apology. The SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal too condemned Khattar on this issue.
