Sadda Haq DVD released; Overseas copy include original movie and English dubbed version

Chandigarh/ Punjab (July 10, 2013): It is learnt that the OXL Group has released the DVD of Punjabi movie “Sadda Haq”, that proved to be a major hit this year. The movie’s plot was based in the events of 1980s-90s in Punjab and it was twice banned in India; firstly by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and then by state governments of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and the administration of Chandigarh.

Consistent efforts of the producers of the movie had led to lifting of bans and the movie was released world over.

As per information the DVD of the Sadda Haq movie was released on July 07, 2013.

“SADDA HAQs original dvd released worldwide today. It also has a very informative booklet inside . In overseas market there are two dvds in same pack one in Punjabi and one in English”, the Sadda Haq producers wrote on the wall of their Facebook Fans Page on July 07, 2013.

“Sadda Haq original DVDs are now available in India along with a booklet which has detailed and interesting info about the making of this movie and how it got clearance in India after all the challenges. Overseas copy has three items inside. Original version of the movie, Booklet and English dubbed version which is now available in UK, Australia & Newzealand and soon it will reach in Canada,USA and Europe.” reads another Facebook Fans Page post (dated: July 09, 2013) by Sadda Haq producers.

According to the producers the Sadda Haq was all the times second biggest hit movie in Punjabi cinema.
