Samvad To Host Lecture of Prof. Pritam Singh Oxford on Punjab Economy at PU Chandigarh

Chandigarh: Samvad, a discussion forum, has announced to host a lecture of Prof. Pritam Singh on Punjab economy. The lecture will be held at Gandhi Bhawan in Panjab University Chandigarh on December 1, 2019.
The lecture on “Punjab Economy in Global Context” will begin at 9:30 am, reads a poster released by Samvad.
Prof. Pritam Singh
Dr. Pritam Singh is a visiting Professor at Wolfson College, University of Oxford, UK. His special area of interest is development and environmental economics. He has published extensively in this area with a focus on Indian subcontinent and the Punjab. One of this recently published works is “Federalism, Nationalism and Development (India and the Punjab Economy)”.
