Amritsar: In a press statement issued today, Bhai Satnam Singh Kahndawala and other former Panj Pyare of Akal Takht Sahib informed that a seven member panel is formed make efforts for Panthic Unity.
Bhai Satnam Singh Khandawala, Bhai Satnam Singh Jhajjian, Bhai Major Singh, Bhai Mangal Singh and Bhai Tarlok Singh informed that the committee comprises Baba Sewa Singh Rampur Khera, Baba Sarabjot Singh Bedi, Bhai Bakshish Singh (Akhand Kirtani Jatha), Baba Hari Singh (Randhawa), Baba Ram Singh (Damdami Taksal, Sangrawan) and Baba Piara Singh (Nirmale).

Bhai Satnam Singh Khandawala said that the Punjab Government, SGPC and SGPC appointed Jathedars have failed to stop the series of incidents of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib started after a Saroop of Guru Granth Sahib was stolen from Buraj Jawahar Singh Wala on June 01, 2015.
He said that the government and SGPC’s failure to prevent beadbi incidents has brought extreme disappointment amongst the Sikh masses and only the Panthic unity could overcome this disappointment. They said that the Panthic unity was also necessary to put a stop to the repeated incident of beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib.
