SGPC to setup museum at Chamkaur Sahib in the memory of Shaheeds

Ludhiana: The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) has decided to set-up a museum at Chamkaur Sahib in the memory of Bhai Sangat Singh and other Shaheeds who had attained martyrdom at Chamkaur Sahib during the battle of Chamkaur.

SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar said that the museum will comprise painting exhibiting the history of battle of Chamkaur.
A release by the SGPC says that the decision was taken during a meeting of the executive committee held at Gurdwara Patshahi Chhevin and Dasvin, Degsar, Katana Sahib in Ludhiana.
