SGPC Team Leaves For Rajasthan To Meet Alwar Violence Victims

Abohar:  As per the media reports the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) chief Prof Kirpal Singh Badungar has constituted a team that would go and meet the victim sewadars who were thrashed by the local villagers of Alwar district last month (26th April) while they were asking for direction from the locals. They shall probe the circumstances that lead to the assault.

The team  after interacting with SGPC member Surjit Singh Kang at Sriganganagar, 40 km from here left for the city of Alwar.

The team, headed by SGPC additional secretary Vijay Singh, comprises Prof Harpreet Singh, Gurmeet Singh and Baba Bahadur Singh. The video of sewadars — Nirmal Singh, Malkiat Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Harpal Singh of Khairthal village in Alwar after being thrashed and abused went viral on Thursday.
