Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh’s father Bapu Tarlok Singh admitted in hospital after heart blockage

Amritsar, Punjab: Bapu Tarlok Singh, father of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh Agwan was reportedly admitted in Escort Hospital few days back for treatment after he suffered blockage in three veins of heart. He has shows some improvement after being admitted to the hospital. It is notable that Indira Gandhi was responsible for ordering army attack of Darbar Sahib and various other Sikh Gurdwaras in Punjab and adjoining states in June 1984. The army attack on Darbar Sahib marked beginning of third Ghallughara (holocaust) of Sikh history.

Giani Gurbachan Singh visits Bapu Tarlok Singh in Hospital

Talking to the Sikh Siyasat News over phone S. Wariam Singh Agwan (brother of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh Agwan) said that Bapu Tarlok Singh’s health has improved in last few days and doctors have decided to shift him to common ward from ICU.

‘We hope that improvement in Bapu Ji’s health would continue and he will be discharged from hospital soon’ he added.

S. Wariam Singh said that Bapu Tarlok Singh is patient of Sugar from last 15 years and chances of heart diseases in sugar patients are comparatively high.

Giani Gurbachan Singh, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takhat Sahib visited the hospital to enquire about wellbing of Bapu Tarlok Singh.

Others who visited Bapu Tarlok Singh in Hospital includes Damdami Taksal chief Baba Harnam Singh Dhumma, Former Jathedar Jasbir Singh Rode, Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale’s son Bhai Isher Singh, Jathedar Sawarnjit Singh Misal Shaheedan Tarna Dal, Parmjit Singh Dhadi chief patron International Panthik Dal.
