Shame on Modi and Badal for unduly harassing people of Border belt of Punjab: Capt. Amarinder

Amritsar/ Chandigarh: Targeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for unduly harassing people of border belt of Punjab, Capt. Amarinder Singh said that the evacuation of border area villages was aimed at consolidating Hindu votes in Uttar Pradesh.

In a video released over the social media Capt. Amarinder showed an area of Indo-Pak border in Punjab and maintained that there was movement of the army in that area and even the defence line bunkers stand abandoned.

“There no movement of army is seen on the either side of the border, why the people of this area (border belt of Punjab) are being harassed?”, asked Capt. Amarinder Singh.

Punjab Congress chief slammed Narendra Modi for allegedly creating war hysteria in order to consolidate Hindu vote-bank in Uttar Pradesh and create diving on communal lines in wake of upcoming assembly polls. He said that Badals were thinking of gaining political milage out of this situation for upcoming Punjab state assembly polls. He said that both Modi and Badal should be ashamed of their misdeeds.
