Ludhaina, Punjab (August 23, 2014): It is learnt that all three persons accused in the shoe-hurling incident, in which a shoe was hurled towards Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, have been denied bail. Judicial Magistrate (1st Class) Harjinder Singh refused to grant bail to Vikram Kumar, Mahinder Pal Singh Dangarh and Harvinder Singh.

It is notable that Vikram Kumar was arrested by the police from Isru on August 15, soon after he had hurled a shoe towards Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal. Mahinder Pal Singh Dangarh and Harvinder Singh were arrested by the police afterwards.

According to police trio had hatched a conspiracy to hurl shoe at Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal.

Rajiv Rai Mehta, counsel for the accused, said that they would now approach the sessions court.

Recently Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal had claimed that the shoe hurling incident was a deep rooted conspiracy.
